This hotel truly is gorgeous - it’s a secluded area with a lively atmosphere, and beautiful pools. The beach is nearby and the restaurants offer a variety of good food. The rooms are amazing, like a tropic and modern apartment. Best of all though, the service. All the staff have been incredibly helpful and kind, such as our waitress Carolina at the buffet. They even put on nighttime shoes for entertainment. Overall an amazing experience, definitely recommend.

Andy was one of the best waiters I have ever had. He was so attentive and polite. He ensured our tables were always cleaned and drinks were filled. He always greeted us with a warm smile and kept us laughing. It didn’t matter if he was working at the snack section or one of the restaurants, the service was always superb. I recommend Andy for any of your dining needs as the service he provides is impeccable. Job well done Andy, keep up the good work.

This is my honest review after a couples stay for 6 nights at this resort: -Check in: was fast and easy. -Room: can be remodeled but it’s okay because it has all you need. The bed was comfortable. -Room keys: Terrible! They get easily deactivated when it’s in contact with your phone or credit cards, causing inconvenience as you need to go to the lobby to get them reactivated. They must have another better system. -Common areas: beautiful landscape, furniture and design. -Transportation: the hotel is huge and their main shuttle is an old train. You can be waiting up to 15-20 minutes for a ride. They have golf cars only for the upgraded hotel called “the Level”. Sometimes they pass by you and totally ignore you. -Food: mediocre! It’s not quality food because it can make you sick and the options are low. The thematic restaurants are better. Note: the food made my husband sick for 2 days. -Service: not good because most staff members are rude and seem not motivated. It feels as if they are doing you a favor and they don’t make you feel welcome/comfortable. However, some try to do their best. -Spa: super nice 👍🏼 massages! I highly recommend it but ask for a discount because they are overpriced. ***Overall, I will not come back to this hotel and I don’t recommend it - mainly because of the food and the staff/service. It’s sad because it’s a beautiful place. I hope and pray for new management and staff because the hotel is beautiful!

The massage was incredible and so relaxing. I didn’t want it to end! It was hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff was all so intentional with making sure we enjoyed our time and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Bernardo was amazing and one of our favorites! He was so helpful and hospitable and he was so incredibly sweet! We were so happy we came and we’re able to enjoy the good half of the day here at the spa!

We came to Meliá for our honeymoon and the experience has been unmatched! Juan and Jose were incredible in planning out every piece of our week with us, setting up meal reservations, rides and answering every question we had during our entire stay. Gustavo and Moses provided a very nice dining experience on my birthday and surprised us with a birthday cake and song! It was such a pleasant surprise! Everyone we came into contact with on the property was super friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Meliá and it's wonderful staff/restaurants/overall property.

We loved the fact that we could enjoy our honeymoon stress free and without kids. The beach was beautiful and well maintained, the pool was cool and clean. The staff was very friendly and we never felt that we were not welcomed. The room was very clean and we were walking distance from the beach, the pool and the restaurants. Our butler Eddy Sambo catered to our every needs. He was professional, kind and helpful. He booked us very good restaurants and made sure we were not missing anything. All in all i would definitely recommend this resort to anyone!!

O melhor Bar está localizado na praia com o nome de Cape Nao. Todos a equipe é sensacional, em especial Roberto, Ulisses, Katheryne e Jason. Não deixe de passar láe pedir um drink para essa equipe nota 10. Foi a melhor equipe que nos atendeu em todo o hotel. Parabéns amigos. Até breve.

El día siempre comienza con un desayuno bien delicioso de el restaurante Quimera. Con su comida tan deliciosa que te llena. El equipo de quimera están bien excelente con su servicio, especialmente María Morillo. Cada día, empezamos con la sonrisa de Maria que nos hace sentir bien bueno para comenzar el día. En total, la experiencia está excelente para el desayuno excelente como el jugo que está excepcionalmente fresco.

Voy a empezar haciendo una valoracion general del hotel de los aspectos mas relevantes.Hotel: Es un complejo enorme. Nosotros en 10 dias quizas conocimos un 70%. Desde que entras se puede apreciar la calidad en todo lo que te rodea. Paisajes muy cuidados y detalles que te hacen sentir especial.Restaurantes: casi imposible probarlos todos. Hay mas de 10. Para desayunar y comer tienes varias opciones de Buffet, siendo la Rumba el que recomiendo. Esta a pie de playa y es sencillamente maravilloso comer con la Brisa.Para cenar hay varias opciones: Italiano, Mexicano, Vietnamita, Mediterraneo, Español, Americano, international, etc... Para mi, el que mas me gusto fue Cape Nao. Y aqui quiero incluir a Randel Castro que despues de estos dias se convirtio en un amigo. Sencillamente una persona maravillosa.El servicio en general bien, cabe destacar el equipo humano que tienen, ya que en todo momento estan ahi pata ayudarte.Habitaciones: amplias y limpias. En nuestro caso con vistas a la piscima y mar. Maravilla. 42m².Playa: Arena Blanca y palmeras. Un oasis caribe. creo que es de los pocos hoteles que tienen una red protectora para las algas con lo que reduce en gran medida la aparicion de estas.Recomendamos coger la excursion de Isla Saona. TOP.Recomendable 100%, nosotros sin duda volveremos.😍😍

Recomendo, todavia a receção não soube explicar nada, pedimos um late check out as 13h, recusaram, pedimos transferes, nada, entre várias e simples situações fáceis de resolver. Os mais afáveis são os jardineiros, as empregadas de limpezas e a "senhorita" Júlia que servia os cafés Nespresso junto a entrada do principal restaurante " moisaco" Boa experiência em todos os restaurantes menos ao do Mediterrânio, o Jesus péssimo atendimento... Foram 7 dias incríveis.

Las instalaciones del hotel, son impresionantes , la atención del personal del hotel deja mucho que desear . Gente que trabaja de cara al público no puede estar con esa cara de amargados, parece que les están obligando a trabajar. Los animadores del hotel encantadores. Nos robaron 100$ de la habitación , y el hotel se limpia las manos diciendo que teníamos que haberlo metido en la caja fuerte . Sin duda, así lo haremos la próxima vez en cualquier hotel al que vayamos. Pero ya vale estar en un resort Melia 5 estrellas y que te robe el personal de limpieza ….

Una estancia formidable, fui con 2 amigos y no nos faltó de nada, la atención de los empleados del hotel fue inmejorable así como sus instalaciones y servicios. Queremos hacer una mención especial a “Mamá” que era la camarera que se encontraba en la barra de la piscina principal, a Radalis y a Jasiel ya que estuvo pendiente de nosotros durante toda la estancia. Si tuviera que proponer algún cambio, es cierto que para reservar comida o cena en los restaurantes era muy tedioso, mucho tiempo de espera en las colas que se formaban y no existía (o al menos así nos lo comunicaron) forma de reservar por teléfono. Gracias! Repetiremos seguro!

We visited Melia Punta Cana as guests for a wedding and upgraded to the Level package. We were lucky enough to get Alejandro as our butler and that was like icing on the cake to an amazing resort and staff. Alejandro made sure all of our needs were taken care of....whether it be dinner reservations, spa appointments, or transportation. He ensured that everything was in place. In addition to the exceptional service we received from Alejandro, all of the staff was amazing. We enjoyed the Level exclusive lounge, restaurant, pool, and especially Jonathan the bartender in the rooftop bar. The restaurants were great, the pool and beach areas nice and relaxing, but the staff is AMAZING! Thank you Alejandro for everything....we will definitely be back!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I’ve stayed at multiple hotels in Punta Cana and this is by far the worst one, avoid at all costs. During breakfast my plate of untouched pancakes and bacon was removed from my table without asking if I was done. For lunch the entire time they had 2 flavors of ice cream vanilla and strawberry minutes before closing for lunch they brought out a peanut flavored ice cream and told customers they could not get any because there was none left. A line of workers appeared and in our faces filled huge cups of ice cream of the new flavor that they clearly reserved for themselves. This seems unprofessional and unacceptable because I paid for myself to eat and enjoy this resort not for the workers to reserve food for themselves. I don’t mind them eating the food, however I do mind being lied to and then watching them eat it in my face and take the buckets of ice cream out while the buffet is still open for lunch. The shower gel in my room was filled with water instead of being refilled, I removed it from the shower and left it opened and emptied on the sink for them to refill with actual soap. Cleaners came in and ignored it left it exactly where I placed it. The excursion agents are at the door of the buffets waiting for you to come in and hound you to book something through them. There’s no seafood besides soup and mussels available for all inclusive guests those options are only available for an extra fee. $71 for surf and turf which at other resorts it is available even at the buffets at no extra costs The customer service here is through the floor which is very sad to see since the resort itself is actually very appealing. If I could go back in time and book elsewhere I would.

Excelente servicio de animadores, pero el servicio de mesa y servicio en recepción del lobby dejan mucho que desear ,son muy lentos a la hora de servirte y atenderte y rara vez resuelven losproblemas que puedan surgir durante la estadía, las habitaciones en cuanto a limpieza de los peores hoteles que he estado, servicio pésimo no se corresponde a un 5! estrellas abandonadas, suciasy viejas, mal mantenimiento y limpieza de las habitaciones, por lo demás en cuanto a comidas, paisajes y entornos fabulosos pero se echa en falta más profesionalismo en el sector de la hostelería.

I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to relax and treat themselves. We had wonderful service and the staff was very friendly. Our conciergewas attentive and was able to facilitate appointments and reservations. The only issue was the staff did try to sell us vacation membership and I didn’t know this was part of the stay. They were very friendly and did give us perks for listening. Although they didn't pressure us into buying one, it would have been nice to know. The food was great.

Péssima experiência na lua e mel... Chegando no hotel a recepção não começou boa, funcionários pouco receptivos e com pouca vontade de ajudar. No dia seguinte, visando melhorar nossa experiência, contratamos o THE LEVEL, A MAIOR ENGANAÇÃO QUE EXISTE NESTE HOTEL e pagamos o valor de R$ 3.000,00 ... Contratamos esse serviço acreditando que teríamos o atendimento melhor e diferenciado levando em consideração o alto custo. Porém ninguém sabe dizer o que vem incluso, a não ser um restaurante exclusivo, e sobre as bebidas premiuns ninguém sabia dizer quais eram inclusas ou não. O serviço incluía atendimento de garçom na praia, porém os mesmos só serviam bem os clientes que os pagavam gorjeta, caso o cliente não pagasse não era servido com frequência. Nos enganaram informando que ao contratar o serviço the level não seria necessário o agendamento dos restaurantes temáticos, informação essa que nos deixou uma noite sem conseguir jantar. Sobre os carrinhos de golfe que também era um serviço exclusivo the level, raramente passavam e quando passavam se recusavam a nos levar, falavam para pegarmos o trenzinho. Funcionários não sabem informar nada, são totalmente perdidos! Depois de muita luta conseguimos descobrir quais bebidas premiuns estavam inclusas no the level, porém as mesmas só tinham no bar DA RECEPÇÃO e sempre estavam em falta. Shows noturnos nunca eram informados, e além disso o hotel era muito desanimado. O show mais animado que teve foi do the beatles. App não serve para nada, não tem informações. Na parte da praia exclusiva para o the level, o bar não havia nenhuma bebida premium. Informei que estávamos em lua de mel e mesmo assim o hotel não ofereceu nada especial para a ocasião. Resumindo, THE LEVEL NÃO VALE A PENA, é uma enganação E O HOTEL MELIA MENOS AINDA.

Por la habitación, muy cómoda y sobre todo la atención de Kerlyn y de Rubí, gracias a ellos he tenido una estancia memorable, al principio tuve algunos inconvenientes que Kerlyn me solucionó rápidamente, luego Rubí siempre estuvo atenta y pendiente de si necesitaba algo, muy buena la atención. Por otro lado lo único de lo que podría quejarme es de la actitud de algunos camareros y camareras de los restaurantes Rumba y Mosaico (si no les das propina desde el principio no te atienden de buena manera, una pena la verdad), del resto todo increíble!!!

iPhone 12 & 13 demagnetize key cards, requiring new room cards from the front desk whenever they touch. Drinks and bar staff were above and beyond. Bikes should be available to use more freely throughout the resort during more hours to get around. Especially in light of the shuttle running inconsistently. Breakfast was incredible every day, plenty of options and fantastic staff. Beach was clean and well maintained. Rooms were larger and better than expected. Towels were not available everyday depending on availability. Booking restaurant reservations by far the most disappointing part of the resort. Of the 5 restaurants available, all 5 were “fully booked” the first 3 days we were there, with only 1 reservation available on our final night at 9pm. Conflicting information from different staff members on when/where we could book. Some said only same day via the front desk, others said in advance by calling or using the mobile app, both of which did not work in our experience. Would recommend the mobile app be updated with a redesign to allow restaurant reservations in the app, letting guests book reservations themselves via the same system as staff uses.

As pessoas que atendem no bar são sensacionais, super simpáticas e fica aqui nosso agradecimento para Denia, Hector, William e Radallis. Super simpáticos, ajudando com tudo o que precisamos e cuidado de nos manter bebados sempre que necessário.Uma coisa que incomodou foi que eles precisam caminhar cerca de 1km para o lobby para ter suas refeições. Um absurdo, visto que tem carrinho de golfe passando o dia todo.Poderiam deixar que usassem sempre que houvesse espaço, mas era muito difícil os carros estarem cheios, nao faz sentido ter que fazê-los caminhar até lá!

Férias perfeitas! Atendimento impecável de todos os funcionários. O resort é muito completo, a comida maravilhosa e ficamos muito bem acomodados em nosso quarto. Alejandro, nosso concierge foi impecável e nos auxiliou em tudo! Os meninos do bar da piscina (Hector, Radalis, Ramón e Denia) são muito simpáticos e as meninas do spa são maravilhosas, bem como Orlando que nos ofertou os passeios na região. O resort é muito limpo e lindo, a praia ainda mais. Recomendo de olhos fechados! Foi uma experiência única.

My husband and I went to Melia to get away before our baby is born and we loved it! Alejandro took such great care of us, he was so attentive and met all our needs. Anything we needed or wanted, didn’t matter what time it was he would handle. I definitely recommend! All the staff was so caring and nice, the service was always excellent, we never had to leave the resort. We felt so comfortable and felt at home. We will definitely be returning!

The Melia is one of the better resorts in the are and you will not regret your stay the beach is breathtaking and the rooms divine. If you come do yourself a favor and go to the jigger it has great ambiance and phenomenal drinks served up by two of the best bartenders in Punta Cana, Jorge and Claudia. Would recommend for anyone searching for a more relaxed setting with top notch drinks.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia en el resort Meliá Punta Cana la semana pasada. El hotel era simplemente precioso, especialmente el hermoso paisaje, los jardines y las fuentes. Por supuesto, las playas tropicales del Caribe justo al lado del hotel fueron lo más destacado. El personal del hotel fue muy servicial con nosotros durante toda nuestra estancia y nos hizo sentir como en casa. I recently stayed at Melia Punta Cana for leisure and had an incredible experience.Felix and Armando went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect the entirety of the trip and made sure to check in multiple times each day to ensure that all of our needs were met. Thank you to them!On the last evening of the trip we were invited to a specialty dinner provided by hotel management (thank you Rafael!!) which was beach side and incredible. Nelson was our server and provided amazing service throughout the entire experience. The Chef prepared an excellent meal and took in the allergy considerations we had!The entire team was so warm and welcoming and provided an amazing vacation for us. This resort is beautiful and amazing I would definitely stay again! Pros: Very Safe (I travelled alone and felt very comfortable), Staff was amazing, professional and nice, I dont speak Spanish and never really had any communication issues. Also cool activities and amenities.Not really Cons but not pros: The food was kind of basic but still good. The resort is huge so not easily walkable - they do have pick up trains/carts (but they’re not as frequent at night)

I stayed for a week and had an amazing experience. From check in to check out, the staff was very welcoming and informative. Alexander Perez in guest services was exceptional in helping me make reservations for all the things I wanted to do while I was in Punta Cana! The resort is absolutely beautiful with so many plants and every aspect of the resort is picturesque! The rooms were very clean and well maintained. There are amazing beach views from the rooftop bar and Rumba restaurant. There are multiple restaurants and so much variety to choose from for each meal. It was great to be able to walk straight to the beach from my room and there is a shuttle bus to go to the other end of the resort that comes every few minutes. I cannot wait to come back next again!

If it was only for the beauty of the resort, I would give it a 5 stars! Very beautiful and excellent atmosphere, the beach is just fabulous and the multiple pools are great. However, it took forever to check in… about 2 hours and we arrived shortly after 3pm… the room was not charming andoutdated and had no closet but some shelves with a curtain. Nothing to hang the towels in the bathroom, hand soap to be used as a body wash. The bathroom flooded and balcony sliding door frame was broken. It was a lot of back and forth to get that situation fixed. After they fixed the bathroom the leak got worse the next day; it was a swimming pool… at this point we just wanted to change our room but it looked like it was an issue… it took a whole day and a lot of negotiations for them to change our room. No apology and no complimentary gesture. We didn’t find the staff to be helpful and hospitable except for 3 of them. The food was terrible in all restaurants except for the Vietnamese one. When we checked out, they were trying to charge us for a phone call we didn’t place. It is very unfortunate because it is a really beautiful place but it is hard to recommend it.

Estivemos no Meliá Punta Cana pela quarta vez e foi sensacional. Bebidas premium e drinks excelentes. Um agradecimento especial ao pessoal do Quimera(Miguel, Maria, Carmen, Charina, Ane e todos os demais que não recordo o nome agora). Resort extremamente limpo e com ótimas instalações. ¡El recorrido en bicicleta fue mi parte favorita de mi estancia! Fue bueno estar activo y ver toda la propiedad. Nuestro guía, Winfre, estaba muy bien informado y era divertido. También tomé su clase de campamento de entrenamiento. Él es muy bueno haciendo que todos los invitados se sientan tranquilos y eso me gusta mucho

El hotel en si es muy bonito, todo limpio y los empleados son muy amables! La pasamos delicioso. Hay muchas actividades dentro del hotel. Los restaurantes tienen buenos horarios y hay muchos bares dentro del hotel. El hotel es gigante pero es bueno si a uno le gusta caminar. A nosotros nos gustó mucho el hecho de que podíamos caminar a todas partes. Si lo suyo no es caminar, tienen trenes que los llevan a su destino. Gracias a todos los animadores por hacernos sentir como en casa. Volveremos!

The Level: Decepção. Atendimento péssimo, alguns funcionários mal educados, serviço de quarto ruim, comida normal. Em 7 dias só repuseram a água do quarto. Teve dias que nem lixo tiraram, só arrumaram a cama. Pedidos no room service não vieram. Mal atendimento nos restaurantes. Acho que até na padaria da esquina nos faria algo especial se disséssemos que estamos em lua de mel. Aqui nem o que tínhamos direito recebemos. Isso porque estamos em uma parte mais “exclusiva” do hotel. Imagine se não fosse.

Was not impressed at all. It's a gigantic resort but not much to do. You need to take a trolley to go EVERYWHERE. The food was not that good(and I'm not a picky eater). No entertainment, and so much algae at the beach that I couldn't get in the water. Lots of mosquitoes and we got sand flies from laying on the beach. Some of the staff were very nice but their were a lot of them who seem to discriminate against brown people. If you need just TOTAL peace and quiet then maybe this is for you. But their are definitely better places in Punta Cana to spend your money. I definitely would not be going back. Barceló is a better choice, my opinion. I'm being generous giving 2 stars.

Passamos dias inesquecíveis no Meliá Punta Cana. A começar pelo concierge Eduardo que nos atendeu de forma excelente, fazendo as reservas dos restaurantes e sempre preocupado com o nosso bem estar. Outro ponto alto são os drinks com bebidas de ótima qualidade feitos por equipe do bar Quimera. Carmen e Adriana são pura animação e simpatia! Os restaurantes a lá carte são ótimos! Principalmente o Quimera e Riviera com ótimos pratos e carnes e camarões. Já é nossa sexta vez em Punta Cana e a quinta vez na rede Meliá. Com certeza voltaremos mais e mais vezes!

Resort amplo acomodações confortáveis piscina maravilhosa praia linda. E para por aí. Serviços péssimos principalmente nos restaurantes self service. Nas noites de festas e casamentos o resort fica lotado e ainda assim disponibilizam apenas um buffet para a ceia q estava lotado! Fila gigante para se servir e espera para sentar uma zona! Minha sorte foi q agendei para ir no restaurante a la carte. O resort a noite é mal iluminado e dificulta mt a locomoção. Para se andar dentro precisa esperar um trenzinho q mts vezes demora mt. Qto ao atendimento dos funcionários alguns te tratam bem mas esses são os que estão interessados em vender títulos. Demais funcionários atendimento de ruim para péssimo ou por má vontade ou por pura falta de conhecimento. Até para realizar o teste para o Covid foi difícil. Uma má vontade enorme dos funcionários para nos levar até o local do exame. No lobby da recepção o atendimento é ainda pior! Tipo vc tem q se virar! Apesar do resort ser mt bonito não volto nunca mais

What a wonderful time we’re having at the Melia Punta Cana! The resort is beautiful and has a wonderful wellness program packed full of activities. Definitely would recommend The Level!! The upgrade allows you exclusive access to rooftop bar, Quimera restaurant, room service and concierge. Our concierge, Vladimir has been AMAZING!!!! He is quick to respond, ensures that we had a contact for excursions, takes care of dinner reservations, helps us navigate the beautiful large property and thoroughly and accurately addresses anything we need! I read lots of reviews about the food. Well, as a vegetarian, I was slightly concerned. Vladimir ensures that my diet is noted for all reservations and messaged the chef of the Vietnamese restaurant the first night I was here to ensure I had something to eat. Definitely a trip worth remembering!!

I am very pleased with how the bartenders, waitresses and entertainment staff treated us here. The biggest shout out goes to the entertainment staff. Nelly, Omar, Cappuccino and Junior made our vacation extremely entertaining. The resort was beautiful, I’ll definitely come back in the future!
